Any claims of copyright infringement should be directed to the Editor at jaai.editor@fcsresearch.org with the subject line "Copyright Infringement".
The claim must be supported by documented evidence showing that the same version was published, copyrighted, or patented by the aggrieved party before the publication date of the concerned JAAI article. Upon receipt of the claim, the JAAI Board will, if deemed appropriate, inform the JAAI author to provide an explanation. The discussion will be conducted transparently with both parties involved.
The JAAI Board reserves the sole right to determine the validity of any such claims. If, after careful consideration, the claim is found to be justified, the concerned manuscript will be removed from all JAAI archives and servers. Any subsequent print copies of the issue will not include the article. If the required changes are minimal, such as the inclusion of references, the authors will be notified to make the necessary amendments in accordance with the JAAI article correction policies. The revised version will undergo peer review like any other submission and will be published in the same issue (number) of the concerned volume.
All copyright claims will be addressed with the highest priority. A response will be provided within 3 working days, provided the claim is supported with the necessary documented evidence.
